Explore our extensive list of classes offered through the BVHS Music Program, designed to cater to a wide range of musical interests and skill levels. From foundational courses to advanced performance ensembles, our program provides diverse opportunities for every aspiring musician.
Focuses on developing well-rounded musicians through technique, theory, ensemble performance, and advanced musical concepts.
Develops advanced jazz techniques and ensemble performance, emphasizing improvisation, theory, and self-expression.
A corequisite course made up of Instrumental Music 10, 20, and 30 combined with Band 15, 25, and 35.
Focuses on advanced jazz performance, building on instrumental music skills with an emphasis on improvisation and complex thinking.
Teaches fun, safe vocal techniques through a diverse repertoire, with performance opportunities and vocal range assessment.
Provides an interactive environment for instrumental and vocal music in musical theatre productions, enhancing musical skills and repertoire.
Covers guitar basics and essential music fundamentals, including notation, chords, and musical styles.
Students will develop and broaden theoretical understandings in relation to the guitar and learn to read both traditional and tablature notation.
Focuses on music production and composition using industry-standard software, covering theory, technology, and history to help students create their own music.
